At Federated, we believe in supporting the communities where we live and work.

Major contributions are made each year to the United Way in the cities of our major processing offices (Phoenix, Arizona and Owatonna, Minnesota) and in our six other claims service office locations. Owatonna employees remain the largest contributors to their local United Way chapter, donating more than $2 million from 1999 through 2012.

Federated is also extensively involved in helping youth and youth mentoring programs succeed. In 2005, the Company established the Federated Challenge^® event to raise funds and awareness for Minnesota’s Big Brothers Big Sisters chapters.

We believe we have a corporate responsibility to help with worthwhile causes. Employees are encouraged to volunteer their time and help support various civic, governmental, youth, church, and school organizations
